The Cuban also predicted that these earthquakes would coincide with the revelation of the Virgin of Fatima, foreseeing significant changes during March. The Virgin of Fatima is an invocation of the Virgin Mary, which originated from the apparitions in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal, witnessed by three children.
