During the recent celebration of community weddings in Los Pinos, on the occasion of the Day of Love and Friendship, the Head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, highlighted the importance of recognizing diversity and the evolution of families in today's society. In this event, Brugada emphasized CDMX's commitment to inclusion and equality, underscoring that there is diversity and different types of families in the city.

The capital's leader stressed the relevance of same-sex marriage as a fundamental right, stating that love has a transformative power. In her words, “Love is the force that breaks all schemes.
