The National Guard appointed Rubén Torres Martínez as the new coordinator in the state of Querétaro, replacing Filiberto Oropeza Fabián. In a ceremony at the corporation's facilities in the entity, Torres Martínez assumed his new position and expressed his commitment to contributing to the consolidation of the National Guard in the region. He highlighted the importance of maintaining close coordination with nearby entities, particularly Guanajuato, to carry out security tasks and operations against crime.

In his statements, Rubén Torres Martínez stated: “One of the lines from the President of the Republic was to consolidate the National Guard; it must be consolidated, as she has ordered.” For his part, the governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri, reiterated his willingness to collaborate with federal authorities in security efforts both within the state and in border areas.

Mauricio Kuri emphasized the effectiveness of joint actions between different corporations at the three levels of government and mentioned that 27 searches were conducted the previous week as part of these operations. The governor stressed the consistency and positive results derived from the collaboration between state and federal authorities in the field of security.
