The Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Combating Corruption in the State of Morelos issued an arrest warrant against Dionicio Álvarez Anonales, former director of the Tequesquitengo Lake Trust (Filateq) and former collaborator of Cuauhtémoc Blanco, accused of corruption. Dionicio 'N' is accused of the irregular sale of land, unjustified payments for artistic services, and other irregularities that would have caused property damage exceeding 50 million pesos.
Given his potential flight risk, the Prosecutor's Office offers a reward for information leading to his capture. The Secretary of Government of Morelos, Juan Salgado Brito, confirmed the arrest warrant and assured that the agency has the support of state forces for his location. According to the statement from the Prosecutor's Office of Morelos, the arrest warrant was obtained after the state government filed a criminal complaint and it was incorporated into the Investigation File.
"As a result of the fact that the Government of the State of Morelos filed a criminal complaint and the corresponding Investigation File was compiled, a Judge of Control requested and obtained an Arrest Warrant against the said former public servant," mentioned Salgado Brito. He also anticipated that there would be more information as the investigations progress.
"Since, despite being sought, he has not been located to execute said judicial mandate, the cooperation of the general public is requested," mentions the document from the Prosecutor's Office. Salgado Brito explained that this case is part of several complaints filed by the state government headed by Governor Margarita González Saravia.
