Cuauhtémoc Blanco Faces Legal Suspense Amid Allegations

The former footballer and current deputy of Morena, Cuauhtémoc Blanco, is embroiled in controversy due to accusations of sexual abuse, which he has vehemently denied. Nevertheless, the Instruction Section of the Chamber of Deputies decided not to proceed with the impeachment process against him, leaving his legal situation in limbo.

Blanco has emphasized that he has no family ties with the complainant, Nidia Fabiola, and has expressed tranquility regarding the situation. In a video shared by journalist Laura Brugés, Blanco is seen avoiding answering journalists about the case, stating he will not give any more interviews about it in the future.

The former footballer has suggested that the accusations may be related to personal conflicts, as he previously reported the state attorney general of Morelos for extortion. Blanco also mentioned having filed a complaint against his half-sister for the same reason, in an attempt to discredit the accusations against him.

Despite the decision of the Instruction Section of the Chamber of Deputies, the Attorney General's Office of Morelos eventually presented documents confirming the competence to proceed with the trial of origin. This situation has generated various opinions and criticisms regarding the delay in the process and the integrity of the file related to Cuauhtémoc Blanco's case.
