On Thursday night, 23-year-old content creator Juan Diego 'N', known on social media as 'El Chabelo', was killed in an armed attack in the Esquipulas neighborhood of the Huixtla municipality, Chiapas. Preliminary reports indicate that besides the young man, two other people were injured. The attack occurred around 20:30 at a tattoo establishment located on Norte Avenue Arteaga, when armed men opened fire on the influencer. Neighbors alerted authorities after hearing multiple gunshots, leading to the mobilization of security and emergency services. Upon arrival, paramedics confirmed the young man had no vital signs, and personnel from the Chiapas State Attorney General's Office arrived to collect evidence and begin investigations. According to testimonies, two men arrived at the establishment under the pretext of requesting a tattoo service; one of them then repeatedly shot the young man before fleeing with his companion. In the same attack, two other people were injured, preliminarily identified as Fide 'N' and Ligny 'N', aged 28 and 29, who were taken to a hospital for medical attention. As of this edition's closing, the Chiapas State Attorney General's Office has not reported any arrests or provided information on a possible motive for the attack. Local media report that the young man created satires and direct criticisms against local authorities. To date, it is unknown if anyone has been detained or what the motive was for the young man's attack that led to his death.
