Senator from Morena, Saúl Monreal, called for not demonizing the allies of the Labor Party (PT) due to their stance against the 'Plan B' of electoral reform, promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum, and whose discussion continues in Congress. 'We must not demonize our friends from the PT; on the contrary, we must thank them. We have passed 24 constitutional reforms that require a qualified majority, and the PT has been present,' he stated when questioned about the differences in the Legislature regarding the proposal.
