A total of 184 families in the municipality of Querétaro received the deeds to their lands, which granted them legal certainty over their property after more than 13 years of waiting. The capital's mayor, Felipe Fernando Macías, led the delivery of the corresponding documents as part of the Land Regularization Program, assuring that it will provide greater peace of mind to the beneficiaries by legally accrediting their ownership. 'I call on you to care for this land, to tell you that you have your municipal government, that you have your mayor, fulfilling commitments, delivering results,' he said. In turn, the Secretary of Urban Development, Gerardo Romero, detailed that the deeds for Human Settlements were delivered in localities such as Lindavista, Bosques del Cimatario, Juan Diego, Proyección 2000, and Revolución; while for Family Plots, communities like Corea, Cerro de la Cruz, San José Buenavista, Cerro Colorado, Pie de Gallo, San Miguelito, Tlacote El Bajo, and Mompaní were included. During the event, Macías Olvera made the symbolic delivery of 10 public deeds, five corresponding to the Family Plots branch and five to the Lindavista Human Settlement branch. It should be mentioned that the program aims to benefit citizens who are owners or are in irregular settlements, so they can comply with the Law for the Regularization of Irregular Human Settlements, Urban Rustic Plots, and Social Plots of the State of Querétaro, as well as the Agrarian Law under the ejidal regime and be owners of fractions in the National Agrarian Register.
