Political Crisis in Zacatecas: MORENA and Allies Dispute Candidates

Senator Saúl Monreal from MORENA stated that if he decides to continue his political militancy, he will not be considered by the party. Manuel Velasco, coordinator of the PVEM's caucus in the Senate, dismissed the possibility that MORENA senators Saúl Monreal or Félix Salgado Macedonio could be nominated under the toucan party's banner for the governorships of Zacatecas and Guerrero, respectively, for being barred from being MORENA candidates due to the nepotism issue.
