There is worry that the election of judges could be based on questionable criteria, such as a minimum academic average and neighbor recommendation letters.
The importance of accessible justice for all citizens, victims, and companies operating in the country is emphasized. However, the current trend of the '4T' in Mexico points towards a life without independent judges, which raises concerns in various sectors, including the business sector.
The lack of judicial independence could trigger problematic scenarios in issues such as traffic accidents, unjustified dismissals, or claims for insurance services. Hypothetical cases are mentioned that illustrate the possible consequences of justice without impartial judges, raising serious questions about the future of the judicial system in the country.
Amid this situation, the lack of commitment from some high-ranking officials is criticized, such as the absence of Claudia Sheinbaum and Marcelo Ebrard at important events, which further fuels concerns about the direction that the judicial system in Mexico is taking.
