The bench of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in the Congress of Jalisco presented its legislative agenda for the new triennium, focusing on eight fundamental axes for the development of the entity. Among the priority issues stand out the strengthening of the countryside, the improvement of health services, as well as security and justice, considered key areas to address the needs of the people of Jalisco.
In this regard, María del Refugio Camarena, coordinator of the PRI bench, emphasized that they will be attentive to the needs of Jalisco and will work to promote solutions that benefit the population. She highlighted the importance of focusing on local issues, such as environmental protection and the promotion of innovation and technology in the region.
On the other hand, Deputy Alondra Fausto criticized the security reforms promoted at the federal level, arguing that the new regulations leave the population in a vulnerable situation. Fausto expressed her concern about the lack of effective solutions to address security problems, indicating that the current reforms could generate greater defenselessness in the population.
Camarena assured that the PRI parliamentary group will maintain an open dialogue and ruled out the possibility of defections to other parties, highlighting the cohesion of her bench and their commitment to the needs of Jalisco. In this sense, she reaffirmed her willingness to work together and seek solutions that benefit the entity in priority issues such as security, health, and the development of the countryside.
