Agreements between parties will prevent confrontations in the Local Congress

The president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) in the Local Congress, Guillermo Vega, expressed his confidence that agreements will be reached among the different parties to avoid conflicts. He emphasized that none of the heads of the bodies are guaranteed their continuity, so he anticipates changes starting in January.

In the nearly two months of the new legislature, Vega mentioned that the atmosphere among the political groups has improved, which has been reflected in the approval of the value tables for the 18 municipalities and the formation of the committees. He highlighted the importance of agreements between Morena and the PAN, as well as with the Green Party, Citizens' Movement, PRI, and PT.

Regarding the six dependencies of the Legislature, such as the Secretariat of Parliamentary Services, the Chief of Staff, the Treasury, the Directorate of Legislative Research and Statistics, the Directorate of Social Communication, and the Internal Control Office, it is expected that dialogue processes will begin to propose profiles to head each area.

To carry out changes in the administrative units, a qualified majority will be required, so Vega is confident that there will be no disputes between the parties and emphasized the PAN's willingness to negotiate. A renewal is expected in the six dependencies of the Legislature, where the PAN and Morena will compete to place heads in areas of their interest.
