The residents of Guadalupe who wish to use the free transportation through the "Guadalupe Nos Mueve" program have a deadline of Tuesday, January 21, to register at the modules located in three DIF centers in the municipality. Gina Lisa Guerra, Director of Citizen Attention and Participation, mentioned that the registration modules are at the DIF Dos Ríos, Rancho Viejo, and Tres Caminos, with service hours from 08:00 to 17:00 on Monday, January 20, and Tuesday, January 21.
"The requirements that citizens must meet are to present a copy of their voter ID, proof of address, and their CURP," Guerra explained. The free transportation service will be available from 06:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00. Registration can also be done online for the pilot route Dos Ríos-Rancho Viejo through the official website of the municipality. It is emphasized that students and workers will be able to use the units during peak hours to support mobility.
Regarding property tax collection, the Government of Guadalupe reported a 13% increase compared to the same period last year. This increase represents more than 122 million pesos, with 61,236 property files paid, which is 13 million 752 thousand pesos more. Additionally, a 3% increase in the number of files has been recorded compared to the same period in January 2024.
The municipal authority thanked the trust of taxpayers, highlighting that payments made will be reflected in services such as pothole repairs, security, city cleaning, and lighting, among others. Citizens are reminded that they can benefit from discounts of 15%, 10%, and 5% during the first three months of the year, as well as a 50% subsidy on arrears, in addition to participating in the raffle "Complying with wishes for early payment."
