Jorge Santos Reyna to Lead CAINTRA Nuevo León 2025-2026

Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna has been appointed to preside over the CAINTRA Nuevo León for the 2025-2026 term. This announcement follows a unique nomination for the board, with a vote set for March 19, 2025. Leaders from various industries and government will attend the event.


Jorge Santos Reyna to Lead CAINTRA Nuevo León 2025-2026

Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna, who is currently the chairman of the Board of Arca Continental (AC), has been elected to preside over the Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Caintra) Nuevo León, during the period 2025-2026.

The call for the registration of business slates that would integrate the 2025-2026 Board of Directors closed on March 4, and only a single slate led by Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna was received. The current Board of Directors of the Chamber approved the installation of the Electoral Commission, led by Carlos Jiménez Barrera, Secretary of the Board.

The General Assembly of Members of the Chamber will vote on the proposed slate of the new Board of Directors on March 19, 2025, where it is expected that Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna will be ratified as elected President. At the event, it is expected that the Secretary of Economy (SE), Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, will swear in the new Board of Directors of Caintra before various representatives.

Jorge Humberto Santos Reyna is known for holding the position of Chairman of the Board of Arca Continental (AC), a leading company in the bottling sector. Additionally, he serves as the General Director of Grupo SanBarr, is a member of the Board of Regional S.A.B.de C.V., and chairs the Board of Regio Engordas.

Previously, Santos Reyna has held several leadership positions in business representation organizations, such as Vice President of the National Agricultural Council (CNA); President of the State Agricultural Council of Nuevo León and of the Association of Beef Cattle Feeders of the Northeast, among others. Currently, he is a member of the Mexican Business Council (CMN) and is part of the International Trade Council of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE).
