Governor Mauricio Kuri of Querétaro commented on the recent massacre at 'Los Cantaritos' bar, where 10 individuals were killed, linking it to gang retaliation.

The governor of the state of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri, stated that the shooting that occurred at the 'Los Cantaritos' bar on November 9 resulted in the deaths of 10 people and may have been the site of the incident. He noted that a few days before this, three people were killed at the 'Los Cantaritos' bar. The authors of the killings were arrested, and according to the governor's words, this incident could have been the site of future killings.

According to Mauricio Kuri, on that dreadful day, 10 people were killed, of which 8 had direct ties to crime. Upon establishing the identities of the victims, it turned out that their target was representatives of another criminal group, although the shooting was generated by them.

The governor also emphasized that their goal is to prevent organized crime from infiltrating the region, and that criminals are constantly being monitored. He noted that since the beginning of 2021, there have been 13,000 operations and no information about problems with criminal activities, which indicates that such groups are not active in Querétaro.
