Vicente Gerardo "N", known as "La Garza" and plaza leader of Los Ardillos in Guerrero, was arrested in Querétaro, according to the head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch. The operation to capture him involved various authorities such as the Defense, SEMAR, FGR, National Guard, and the State Police of Querétaro. The arrest took place on the northern bypass of Querétaro, where "La Garza" was traveling with Julio César "N" and Kevin Said "N".

During the detention, a security inspection revealed the presence of two handguns and two packages wrapped in tape with the image of a squirrel, which are suspected to contain narcotics. According to official information, Vicente Gerardo "N" is considered a generator of violence in the municipalities of Tecoanapa, Ayutla de los Libres, and San Marcos, in Guerrero, where his criminal group Los Ardillos has influence.

The detainees, including "La Garza", were notified of their constitutional rights and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to determine their legal situation. "La Garza", 42 years old, has been involved in various crimes such as homicide, deprivation of liberty, firearms trafficking, extortion, vehicle theft, and drug trafficking. Previously, he served as coordinator of the Union of Peoples and Organizations of the State of Guerrero (UPOEG), where he had armed conflicts with Los Carillo in Ayutla de los Libres and organized armed assaults in Las Arboledas.
