Three public servants detained in Mexico for alleged irregularities

The State of Mexico Security Secretariat (SSEM) reported the detention of three public servants attached to its Legal Affairs Unit for alleged irregularities committed in the Directorate of Procedures and Legal Defense. According to the official communiqué issued by the institution, this action is the result of coordinated work with the State of Mexico Attorney General's Office (FGJEM) to combat improper practices within public service. The detainees have been identified as Gustavo 'N', who served as Director of Procedures and Legal Defense; Diana 'N', in charge of the Department of Authorization and Revalidation of Private Security Services; and José 'N', in charge of the Department of Verification of Private Security Companies. These detentions are framed in the so-called 'Operation Swarm'. Finally, the SSEM reaffirmed that its management is governed by the precept of 'zero tolerance for any conduct contrary to legality'.
