The state political association “El siglo de las Mujeres” continues its progress towards becoming a political party in the state. On Monday, the Querétaro Electoral Institute approved the quarterly financial report, confirming compliance with the law. The report indicates that 93.9% of the funds were allocated for assemblies, with the remainder used for financial expenses and training. This type of report is a requirement to determine if it can be constituted as a new local political party. It is worth mentioning that this is the third time Concepción Herrera has gone through this process, having previously formed political parties such as Querétaro Independiente and Querétaro Seguro, which were dissolved after failing to achieve the minimum percentage in elections. The report also stated that from July to September, income amounted to 45,918 pesos, of which 43,000 were cash contributions from sympathizers. Councilor Karla Isabel Olvera Morena pointed out that the report was submitted on time and in the proper format to the technical unit for oversight, which reviewed the origin, amount, and destination of resources, as well as supporting documentation, including accounting records, bank statements, and receipts for cash and in-kind contributions. “Regarding the reported income, it is stated that the organization registered private contributions and financing, both in cash and in kind, without exceeding the limits established in applicable regulations, or receiving resources from any entity not considered”. By stating that no irregularities were identified, and although there were some observations, they were resolved, so an approval report was issued.
